Introduction

Unfathomed Labs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates mobile applications and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our apps and services.

This policy applies to all apps published by Unfathomed Labs. Specific data practices for individual apps are detailed in their respective sections below.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: If you create an account, we may collect your name or display name
  • User-generated content: Content you create within our apps, such as text, notes, or other input
  • Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in your message

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, feature usage, and app performance metrics. This data is used solely to improve the app experience
  • Device information: Basic device type and operating system version for compatibility purposes
  • Purchase history: Subscription and purchase information is processed by RevenueCat for transaction management
  • IP address: May be collected by our service providers in the course of providing their services
  • Crash and performance data: May be collected to diagnose issues and improve app stability

All third-party service providers are required to protect your data in accordance with their published privacy policies, which provide protections consistent with this policy.

Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely using Convex, which provides encrypted data storage and transmission
  • We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information
  • Personal data is associated with your account and is not shared with other users unless you explicitly choose to share it
  • Your data may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Our third-party service providers maintain appropriate safeguards for international data transfers

Account Deletion

  • You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app under Settings > Delete Account
  • You may also request deletion by contacting us at joey.yang@unfathomed.dev
  • Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request
  • Some anonymized analytics data may be retained as it cannot be linked back to your account

Data Retention

  • Your account data is retained as long as you maintain an active account
  • Analytics data collected via PostHog is anonymized and retained for up to 12 months

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Delete your account and associated data (see Account Deletion above)
  • Export your personal data in a commonly used format upon request
  • Revoke permissions (such as microphone access) through your device settings

We process your data based on: (a) your consent (e.g., when you grant microphone access or agree to data processing), (b) the performance of our contract with you (providing the app’s services), and (c) our legitimate interests (improving the app through anonymized analytics).

California Residents

We do not sell your personal information. For questions about your data rights under California law, contact us at the email below.

Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information and terminate the associated account. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Do Not Track

Our apps do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

App-Specific Policies

Humbly

In addition to the general practices above, Humbly collects and processes the following:

Audio Data

Humbly uses your device’s microphone (RECORD_AUDIO permission) to enable voice-based features. Before your audio data is sent to any third-party service, you will be asked to provide explicit consent within the app. Audio is processed as follows:

  • Audio is sent to Google Gemini for speech-to-text transcription and content understanding — Privacy Policy
  • Generated prayer text may be sent to Fish Audio to produce audio playback — Privacy Policy
  • We do not store your audio recordings on our servers. Audio is processed in real-time and discarded after processing
  • You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings

Prayer Content

  • Prayers crafted by Humbly are stored in your account and are private to you
  • Prayer data is not shared with other users or third parties beyond the services listed above

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
